 18 June 2009: Çanakkale-Asos

Early morning departure for Gallipoli from Istanbul. Visit the battle fields and the Turkish, ANZAC, and the British War Memorials in  Gallipoli. Then take a ferry to cross Dardanelles  and lunch in Canakkale. Proceed to Troy. After visiting the remains of this legendary city drive to Assos and visit the Acropolis and Temple of Athena, Dinner and overnight stay.




19 June 2009:  Pergamum-Kusadasi

               

Early morning departure for Pergamum. Visit the ancient city of Pergamum, the Asclepion and the Red Court. Then drive to Izmir, birthplace of Homer. A short tour of the city before dinner and overnight stay in Kusadasi.




20 June 2009:  Ephesus

               

After breakfast drive to Selcuk to visit the House of Virgin Mary.  Then proceed to ancient city of Ephesus. Lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Archaeological Museum. Drive back to Izmir. Dinner and overnight  stay in Kusadasi.



 21 June 2009 :  Istanbul

               

After Breakfast transfer to airport and fly to Istanbul and transfer to  Hotel

 27 June 2009: Ankara-Cappadocia

 Early Flight to Ankara and visit the world-famous  Anatolian Civilisations, Museum  and the Mausoleum of Atatürk. Lunch en route.  Then drive along  the picturesque Salt Lake and visit the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai, Agzıkarahan on the ancient Silk Road before you arrive in Cappadocia. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.




 28 June 2009: Cappadocia

               

 Visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, the Uchisar Fortress and the
 Pigeon Valley, Lunch in a local restaurant and visits to  Devrent Valley Zelve and Pasabagı. Then we have some time for shopping as the area is world famous for its handicrafts such as genuine root-dye carpets souvenirs and etc. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.



 29 June 2009 : Cappadocia- Ankara

Visit Kaymakli Underground City. Lunch on the way and finally return to Ankara  dinner and overnight stay

               

30 June 2009 : Flight

Free untill your flight time . Transfer to airport and flight to home ( Return International Tickets should be Ankara departure)

IMPERIAL TOUR

 

 

          

Introduction to the city’s imperial history by driving around the Golden Horn and the great walls of Constantinople.

      

St.Sophia: The magnificent Byzantine Church; one of the finest architectural works in the world. It has been nominated as the 8th wonder of the world by many historians.

 

     

Blue Mosque: One of the largest mosques in Istanbul dating form the 17th century it is one if the principal adornments on the skyline of Istanbul. Also famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarets.

      

Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts: Former Palace of Ibrahim Pasa;  today it is a museum which you can see the old Turkish way of life.

      

Hippodrome: The former center of sportive and political activities of Constantinople. During the visit you’ll be able to see the Obelisk from Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi and fountain of Willhelm II.

      

Grand Bazaar:  In addition to its historical importance, it’s a bazaar that will tempt even the nonshoppers with its rich collection of souvenirs.

 

 

 

                     

OTTOMAN WONDERS TOUR


Topkapi Palace: The former imperial residence from where the Great Ottoman was ruled. Today a spectacular  museum that has one of the largest collections of Chinese and Japanese porcelain.

      

The Treasury Section of Topkapi Palace: The place is very famous treasury of the Royal Family.

 



     Suleymaniye Mosque: The mosque of Sultan Suleyman ‘ THE MAGNIFICENT’ built in the 16th century by SINAN, the famous architect of the time.

       

Golden Horn: Drive along the Golden Horn by the Roman Land walls and churches of Byzantine Period.

       

       

           

       

BOSPHORUS CRUISE

       

       

After a short visit to the famous Egyptian spice bazaar an unforgettable excursion starts

between two continents, Europe and Asia . The cruise takes you along the Bosphorus, past the European style palaces of Ottomans, Dolmabahçe and Beylerbeyi, as well as beautiful wooden kiosks from the 19th century.

ASIA & MAIDEN’S TOWER


Beylerbeyi Palace: A pleasant drive to the Asian part of Istanbul over the intercontinental Bosphorus Bridge. First stop will be at the Çamlıca Hill , the highest point of Istanbul for a panoramic view, then a short drive to a small village by the Bosphorus called Beylerbeyi to visit the 19th century summer palace of the Sultans. The Beylerbeyi Palace on the Asiatic shore was finished in 1865 and served as a summer residence which has 24 rooms and six big halls.

       


Visit of Maiden’s Tower: Welcome to one of the romantic symbols of Istanbul. It is built on an island at the  the Bosphorus .The history of this small tower dates back 2500 years to the period of the Ancient Greek, the Byzantine and The Ottoman Empires.

       

          

          

ISTANBUL BY NIGHT

          

          

          

After a short drive you will be taken to an exclusive night club where you will taste famous Turkish cuisine. Dinner will be served as starting variety of Turkish mezes, main course and deserts . After dinner, a spectacular oriental show will be performed by well known belly dancers, folkloric groups from various regions of Anatolia and Turkish singers.

          

                 

PRINCE’S ISLAND



          

          

After a relaxing cruise on the Marmara Sea, you will arrive at Buyukada,   famous for it’s beautifully decorated  old  wooden houses, pine trees and wonderful panoramic views. The tour will include a horse back carriage drive through quiet, narrow streets around the Island , good food in a fish restaurant and time for leisure. This resort is 28 km. off  Istanbul in the south eastern part of the Marmara Sea.
